Even if the seductive ambiance occasionally borders on parody, it's dangerously tempting to be lured sitting around the round, marble-topped bar, emptying beau Soleil and belon shells. The wonderfully gorgeous 1,000-square-foot garden, complete with iron tables, an outdoor oyster bar, creeping vines, and lush vegetation growing beautiful wormwood and hyssop, drowns out any kitsch. You can sample French food here. The reality is that oysters Rockefeller, steamed mussels, and brandade are all dishes that you will enjoy. Nothing beats a good slice of New York cheesecake with poached pears and ginger ice cream.

The wine list is broad, and every visitor will find something to their liking. Guests can get excellent fruit tea, iced green tea, or mint tea at this bar.
