Marfil Lake
Near the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, in the municipalities of So José do Rio Preto and Uberlândia is a lake known as Marfil Lake. The Marfil tree, a type of palm tree, which grows in profusion in the lake's waters, is the source of the lake's name.
It is Latin America's largest freshwater lake. It measures 3,895 meters in length and is situated at a height of 2080 meters above sea level. At the bottom of the lake is where Santa Cruz is located. A stock pond called Marfil Lake is home to a number of fish species, including catfish.
There are numerous things to do at Lake Marfil because it is a lovely lake that is 6.7 kilometers long. Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, boating, watching the sunset and sunrise, and many other activities are available. The lake has several locations where activities can be found. Ponte de Marfil, Lago do Marfil, Punta Marfil, and Lago do Orqudea are the primary locations for activities.
