The Marie Antoinette restaurant, one of the oldest and most famous in Seychelles, is a favorite destination for both residents and tourists. It was first established in 1972 and has retained its rustic appeal over the years. From the mansion's original wood and iron structure to the long-standing cuisine, which serves the same items it did nearly 50 years ago.

Marie Antoinette has a set meal that includes some fantastic and delectable fare. There are batter-fried parrotfish, chicken curry with rice, tuna steak, and mango salad among the alternatives. To put it another way, you'll be spoiled for choice.

Aside from the delicious food, make sure to say hello to the Aldabra gigantic tortoises who dwell in the backyard. These are unique to Seychelles and are one of the world's largest tortoises! The tortoises were involved in a horrific accident in 2001. Several landslides occurred across the country as a result of heavy rainfall. As a result, a wall collapsed on top of all of the tortoises. It was anticipated that none of the tortoises would survive being buried beneath the hefty concrete. Fortunately, all 11 tortoises survived, and noticeable indentations on their shells can be seen. Abraham, the largest tortoise, is almost 60 years old! So, while visiting Marie Antoinette, make sure to see these incredible animals.
