Mars Petcare, Inc. is the world's largest pet food manufacturer, according to sales in 2019, and serves clients all over the world as a consequence.

Mars Petcare has been around for almost 75 years and presently controls three of the top five pet food brands in the world. Mars Petcare is a growing segment of roughly 50 brands with around 75,000 Associates addressing the nutrition and health needs of dogs, cats, horses, fish, and birds in over 55 countries, making it one of the world's top pet food businesses.

One of the reasons for the company's success is its purchase of 90% of Proctor & Gamble's pet care division for $2.9 billion in 2014-2015, which includes both goods and production facilities.

Its strong sales figures are unsurprising when you consider the brands Mars produces, some of which are household names in the pet food industry. Mars Petcare owns 41 brands, including Pedigree, Iams, Whiskas, Royal Canin, and Banfield Pet Hospitals, which are all worth $5 billion.
