Master (2016)
A South Korean financial crime team conducts a manhunt for a con artist who is involved in a widespread financial scam in the film Master, which was based on a true story about a vast pyramid scheme. Kim Woo Bin played Park Jang Gun, a cunning con artist who subsequently helps the police. The fraud company's IT architect and brain, Jang Gun, is connected to chairman Jin through personal relationships (Lee Byung Hun).
The fugitive CEO gives him the command to uncover the traitor within the organization while Kim Jae Myung (Kang Dong Won), the head of the Intellectual Criminal Investigation, pursues him and threatens him with divulging information about Jin. In this tale of betrayal, machinations, and pursuit, he plays an important part. Kim Woo Bin portrayed a charismatic yet unpredictable figure with a compassionate side off the field. With its gorgeous ensemble, Master attracted over 7 million viewers in 2016, becoming a tremendous box office hit. This is by far Kim Woo Bin's most financially successful movie.
