The Heirs (2013)
Lee Min-ho, Park Shin-hye, and Kim Woo-bin are the main characters of the South Korean television series The Heirs, sometimes referred to as The Inheritors. The drama, which was written by Kim Eun-sook, is set at a privileged, ultra-rich high school. From October 9 to December 12, 2013, it was shown on SBS. The series has received more than a billion views as of January 26, 2014, on Youku, the most popular video streaming service in China.
The plot of The Heirs centers on Kim Tan (Lee Min-ho), a gorgeous heir to the Jeguk Group, a sizable conglomerate, who meets the diligent Cha Eun-sang (Park Shin-hye) while the latter is pursuing his studies in the United States. The two eventually run into one other again in Korea after a long separation as they begin to gently fall in love. Woo Bin plays Choi Young-do, a haughty heir who annoys Eun-sang but ends up liking her too, adding spice to the star-crossed relationship.
