Medicine Park
Medicine Park is a picturesque small town in southern Oklahoma that is also one of the state's most walkable. The scenery is breathtaking because it is located at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains. When you want to explore a variety of quaint eateries and shops, this is the place to go. In the early 1900s, it was a thriving resort town, and after falling into disarray, a restoration project brought it back to life. Today, it's a relaxed, quiet destination town with surprises around every corner. This vintage, cobblestone resort town is located in southwestern Oklahoma at the base of the Wichita Mountains. Stroll down the quaint Cobblestone Row, which is filled with shopping, history, and small-town America.
There are even adorable Birdhouse Cottages to rent in Medicine Park for overnight accommodations, as well as Airbnb rentals in the area. Cobblestone Row, located in the heart of town, is the cutest little street filled with unique shopping and quaint restaurants. Medicine Park is home to a number of excellent restaurants with fantastic patios overlooking the creek. Everything is available, from delicious steaks to tasty Mexican dishes to homemade bakery items. The buildings in town are adorable, and many of them are built with cobblestone. Medicine Creek runs through the town and is stocked with trout every year, while two dams form the popular Bath Lake Swimming Hole. You can spend an afternoon relaxing by walking along bridges and trails. You won't want to leave because it's so peaceful.
