Pawhuska

Pawhuska is a small town in northeastern Oklahoma, about an hour from Tulsa and about two hours from Oklahoma City. With her business empire in the historic downtown district, The Pioneer Woman has really made Pawhuska a destination town in Oklahoma over the last 5 years, but that's not all that Pawhuska has to offer. There is so much natural beauty to discover and charming places to visit that it is the ideal Oklahoma day trip destination. If you need to get away from the city, head to Pawhuska, a small town with charm, exquisite Oklahoma beauty, and quaint shopping.

The Merc is a two-story structure with a restaurant, shop, and bakery. This restaurant receives over 6,000 visitors per day, so expect to wait for a table. The food alone is worth the trip to Pawhuska. If you're familiar with The Pioneer Woman, you're aware that her recipes are unrivaled. P-Town Pizza, located just down the street from The Merc, is another restaurant owned by the Drummond family. You can dine inside or on the patio and enjoy tasty pizza and drinks. But the Drummonds don't own everything in town. Charlie's Sweet Shop sells candy, ice cream, and other treats. They also have a ranch to tour and a hotel in town.
