Melting Me Softly (2019)

In desperate need of funds, Ko Mi-ran takes part in a 24-hour cryogenic freezing experiment, a project that Ma Dong-chan is keen to complete. However, things do not go as planned, and instead of waking up in 24 hours, the two participants awaken 20 years later from the frozen capsule. The world has changed dramatically, as have the people around them. As Ko Mi-ran and Ma Dong-chan try to withstand the negative effects of cryogenic sleep by following specific instructions to keep their body temperature at 31.5 degrees Celsius and their heart rate regular, they end up falling in love.

Ma DongChan is played by Ji ChangWook. He was 32 years old when he was frozen. He is a well-known variety show producer and director. He is gifted because he predicts trends and what will be popular. He devised the concept of "The Frozen Human Project", a variety program. He took part in the program, where he was meant to be awakened after being frozen for 24 hours.
