The K2 (2016)

Ji Chang-wook, Im Yoon-ah, Song Yoon-ah, and Jo Sung-ha feature in the action, politics, and melodrama The K2. The 16-episode series premiered on tvN on September 23, 2016, and concluded on November 12, 2016.

Ji Chang-wook portrays a former mercenary soldier with PMC Blackstone. He goes under the nickname Kim Je-ha and had a sweetheart named Raniya who was slain in Iraq. Kim Je-ha is falsely accused of murder, prompting him to flee and become a fugitive. When he returns to South Korea, he is hired as a bodyguard for Anna, who has just returned from Barcelona. In order to gather resources for his revenge on the man who ordered Raniya's killing, he accepts the offer. Soon, Anna and Kim Je-ha develop feelings for each other.
