It generates energy from hydroelectric, wind and geothermal sources. The company operates various power projects in the South and North of the island. Mercury retails energy to households, businesses and industrial customers nationwide under the GLOBUG and Bosco brands. It also provides advanced measurement infrastructure and data services. The bulk of the company's fleet has been converted to electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles to facilitate the move to renewable energy.
