Metabo-HPT C3607DWA
The Metabo-HPT C3607DWA is a cordless circular saw with a left blade that resembles a worm-gear circular cutter. Indeed, it incorporates two characteristics of the previous Metabo-HPT models that have earned it the affection of generations of carpenters: the first is the unflinching capability to cut through all types of materials. And the other is the saw's back handle, which is angled to let it rest comfortably in your hands.
While traveling horizontally or along the edge of a sloping piece of timber, the handle's positioning puts the saws in a ready-to-cut position. And when crosscutting a large piece of wood -such as a floor joist - most carpenters choose to elevate the edge for better efficiency. This creates a downward slope that aids in the saw's sliding motion.
In our test, we used pressure-treated pine 4 x 8 to determine the power of this Metabo-HPT C3607DWA saw. To be more specific, we used the saw blade's maximum depth of 2-716 inches for crosscuts and rip cuts. To our great delight, we found out there were no issues at all.
