MIA Park
MIA Park is definitely one of the ideal places to visit in Qatar if you want to take your children somewhere safe where they can play and get some shade from the sun. There are some parks nearby, but there aren't many that are open all day and don't charge an entrance fee. MIA Park is adjacent to the museum, where you may wander, join in activities, or simply gaze out at the Doha cityscape from the best vantage point in the city. MIA Park is ideal for a stroll or for your children to run around in complete safety.
This park was erected exactly next to the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), allowing you to enjoy both at the same time. Even if you are not visiting the museum, it is free to everyone. The park offers plenty of space, so no matter when you visit, there will be enough room for everyone. This location offers workshops such as Arabic calligraphy. It also offers participatory activities for children, such as Islamic Art Through Time.
