Midari Ikishima

Due to her bizarre demeanor, the main character in Kakegurui's spin-off series, Kakegurui Midari, Midari Ikishima, gained enormous popularity. That's why she is listed as one of the best twisted anime characters of all time. She is a second-year student at Hyakkaou Private Academy and serves as president of the Beautification Council as well as a member of the student council. In order to pay off the debt to Kirari Momobani, the head of the Student Council at Hyakkaou Private Academy, Midari stabbed herself in the eye with an ink pen.

Midari is a narrow-minded, indifferent person who rarely shows concern for other people's feelings. She gambles very carelessly, placing enormous wagers with little regard for the potential risk. In one of the manga chapters, when she uses an ink pen to stab herself in the eye to pay off a debt to the president, Midari expresses her clear masochistic and suicidal tendencies.

Midari Ikishima enjoys developing cruel games in which the loser perishes. She used to play Russian roulette by herself when she was bored. It has also been highlighted that despite her unusual behavior, Midari is clever in academics, as seen by her flashbacks from middle school and elementary school, when she had achieved a number of accolades and distinctions.
