Mohawk Bend

Mohawk Bend, a vegan-friendly bar in Silver Lake's hipster district, serves excellent American cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Though they have a large number of standard pub menu items, they have a number of veggie-based versions that are superior in taste and texture. For example, the buffalo cauliflower is a big favorite, and even carnivores will want a second helping to wash down with a pint of beer.

When it comes to pizza, Mohawk Bend is best known for it. Almost all of the pizzas on the menu can be turned vegan, making this a fantastic spot for friends with a variety of dietary preferences. Mohawk Bend includes more inventive pies such as baked potato and Angry Vegan, in addition to all of the basic toppings like traditional cheese and mushroom. If you're still hungry afterward, try the vegan chocolate pudding.
