Pizzana

Pizzana is a well-known upmarket pizza joint that serves neo-Neapolitan-style pizza. According to the website, Pizzana was founded by Candace Nelson, who also founded the famous Sprinkle Cupcakes. Pizzana has since grown to West Hollywood and Sherman Oaks, however, the initial store was in Brentwood. While the majority of the pizzas are not vegan, Pizzana has a few vegan and vegetarian options to pick from.

A mushroom and Margherita pizza are the only vegan pizzas on the menu, while vegan tweaks to the other pizza pies are available. The vegan mozzarella on the Margherita pizza is almost identical to the real thing, while the caramelized onion on the vegan Funghi pizza adds a layer of complexity to the flavor profile. Pizzana also serves Italian-inspired appetizers such as grilled artichokes and light salads, in addition to pizza. This restaurant can be delivered to you anywhere in the United States if you don't live in Los Angeles.
