Moscow-850 or Sun of Moscow
Moscow-850 was a Ferris wheel at the amusement park "Moscow-850" on the grounds of VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy), erected to commemorate Moscow's 850th anniversary. It was decommissioned in 2016 and will be replaced by Sun of Moscow in 2022. At 140 m high minus the height of the elevated platform, it became the tallest Ferris wheel in Russia and in Europe, surpassing London Eye (135 m) in raw height, while still smaller in diameter. The wheel is propelled by 14 electric motors each rated at 200 kilowatts. The "Moscow Sun" Ferris Wheel has 30 interior cabins with a capacity of up to 15 passengers and an area of 10 square meters. A glass floor may be found in every sixth cabin. Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning systems, lights, an audio guide, and information screens are available within the cabins.
Each cabin weights around 4.3 tons. Inside, the temperature is regulated at 22°C. You may hire a whole cabin and hold your event there. The standard cabin costs 24900 rubles, while the clear floor cabin costs 29900 rubles. There are ten typical packages available, including birthday, bachelor/bachelorette party, romantic date, picture session, and so on. A cabin may be rented for any specific event — corporate parties, master courses, and so forth. Everything will be organized in accordance with the customer's specifications. Tickets may be purchased on the attraction's official website or at the ticket office.
