SkyWheel Helsinki
This stunning Ferris wheel is now a part of the scenery of Helsinki, Finland's capital. It is open seven days a week and provides a panoramic view of Helsinki and its prominent icons, such as the Helsinki Cathedral. SkyWheel Helsinki launched at Katajanokka, near to the historic Market Square, in the summer of 2014. The 40-meter-high SkyWheel provides breathtaking views of the Helsinki archipelago and city, and the 30 climate-controlled cabins allow tourists to enjoy the landscape all year. It is a model R40 with 30 climate-controlled gondolas that allow the wheel to run all year. Except for the VIP gondola, which can hold four people, the 29 blue-and-white gondolas can accommodate six people. The SkySauna gondola is made of wood and can accommodate up to five passengers.
