NASA
NASA is short for The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is an independent agency of the United States Federal Government, it was established in 1958, after succeeding the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. This is an independent agency of the U.S. government responsible for the civilian space federal program, as well as aeronautics and space research.
NASA is also the first space agency to land a man on the moon, and it also accomplished this innovative space feat back in 1969 when it landed Neil Armstrong on the moon, and it also won the “space race”.
In recent years, NASA has sent rovers to Mars and is also on the task of eventually getting to the red planet, like rival SpaceX is doing. The current plans have astronauts going back to the moon on the Orion spacecraft for further space exploration research.
