Negril Beach & the Negril Cliffs
Negril Beach & the Negril Cliffs, also known as Seven Mile Beach, is a stretch of white sand and turquoise sea that is one of Jamaica's most beautiful. It's one of the nicest beaches in the Caribbean, and it's backed by the famed Negril Cliffs.
The beach stretches from Bloody Bay to Long Bay, and is closer to four miles long. Resorts, ranging from major all-inclusive resorts to smaller boutique ones, line the coastline here, tucked among coconut palm trees.
Snorkelers will discover schools of fish swimming in the beautiful waters, and water sports abound. However, be aware that hawkers will be present on Negril Beach & the Negril Cliffs.
One of the most romantic things to do in Negril is to stroll along this exquisite length of sand and water at sunset. Take a boat cruise to the coral reefs surrounding Booby Cay, just north of Negril Beach, or snorkel off the Negril Cliffs in the south if you wish to go snorkeling in Negril.
