Neil Young

Neil Young is a musician and singer living in Canada. He started his singing career in 1960 and formed a very successful band in a very short time. He is also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his great musical style and writing songs, he is also one of the most popular artists of the folk genre. He introduced some poignant lyrics in his song that took the world by storm and made him his success. He also plays guitar with singing and his songs written by him are considered legendary.

Young has received several Grammy and Juno awards. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame honored him twice: in 1995 as a solo artist and in 1997 as a member of Buffalo Springfield. In 2000, Rolling Stone named Young number 34 on its list of the 100 Greatest Musicians. According to Acclaimed Music, he is the seventh most popular artist in the history of popular music. He also played piano and harmonica on many albums, often incorporating folk, rock, country, and other musical genres. His often distorted playing of electric guitar, especially with Crazy Horse, earned him the nickname "The Godfather of Grunge" and led to the 1995 album Mirror Ball with Pearl Jam. Prior to that, he was supported by Promise of the Real, 21 of his albums and singles were certified Gold and Platinum in the United States by the RIAA certification.
