The Highwaymen
The Highwaymen are an American country supergroup, consisting of four of the biggest country music artists, pioneers of outlaw country music: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson. From 1985 to 1995, the group recorded three major label albums, The Highwaymen: two on Columbia Records and one on Liberty Records. Their Columbia compositions spawned three chart singles, including the number one single "Highwayman" in 1985.
