Nestle (Switzerland)
Nestle was founded in the mid-1800s. After decades under operation, it is now the world's second-largest ice cream company.
Nestle is a food corporation that runs almost 418 facilities in 86 countries. According to multiple sources in the business, its total workforce is estimated to be around 339,000 workers. The corporation has also developed 17 R&D (research and development) testing labs throughout the planet to go along with its expanding popularity. Nestle sells its ice cream under amazingly large amounts of brand names, including Movenpick, Extreme, Dreyer's, Nestle Ice Cream, and Extreme, among others.
As a result of its commercial expansion via mergers and acquisitions (along with innovative marketing strategies), Nestle is continually investing in raising the bar for its products. In 2019, Nestle sold its ice cream operations in the United States to Froneri, a joint venture between it and PAI Partners. Due to these recent changes in ownership, Froneri has been able to extend its worldwide ice cream reach and provide a more diverse product line.
