New Zealand Police
It is wonderful that the Royal New Zealand Police College prepares students and recruits for the finer things that the practical portion may not. Unquestionably one of the best-trained police forces in the world, with a primary focus on everything that the foundation of law enforcement is, regardless of the nation or Police Unit: selecting only the best candidates during the recruitment process who can demonstrate loyalty to the force, their uniform, and the city, as well as commitment, integrity, and the ability of each officer to solve complex problems.
Each officer in the New Zealand Police is rigorously trained to use heavy machine guns and tactical side arms as part of their job duties. Additionally, the New Zealand police are divided into the following specialized training units: the 111 Emergency Armed Offenders Squad, Beat and Patrol, Counter Terror, Criminal Investigation, Diving Squad, K9 units, Narcotics, Forensics, Traffic department, and E-Crime assistance.
