Newport Beach

Newport Beach is a coastal city in Southern Orange County, California, United States. A draw for watersports enthusiasts, the waves here are always busy with surfers and windsurfers. The most famous spot on the easternmost tip of the Balboa Peninsula is known as The Wedge due to its huge summer waves. The calmer waters of Newport Harbor are dotted with sailboats, surfboards and kayaks. Visitors can even rent a gondola for a romantic guided tour around the harbor. The waters are also home to one of the largest recreational marinas on the West Coast of the United States. More than 9,000 boats regularly anchor in the 21 square miles (54 square kilometers) area.

One of Newport Beach's iconic landmarks is the boardwalk, a nearly three-mile (five-kilometer) seaway. This street also runs along luxury residential areas, some of which are owned by celebrities. During the peak summer months, this boardwalk is an especially busy spot with lots of skaters, skaters and cyclists. Go out for a leisurely walk to keep your mind clear and clear. For a bird's-eye view of Newport Beach Town, hop on the old Ferris wheel at Balboa Fun Zone. It's one of Southern California's oldest waterfront amusement parks, complete with a car crash and carousel. Visitors will find this park on Newport Beach's Balboa Peninsula.
