Nick Vujicic is an Australian Christian preacher and key speaker born with olfactory disease, a rare condition that lacks legs and arms. Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1982 to Serbian immigrants Dushanka and Borislav Vuicic from Yugoslavia.


Nick Vujicic was born without limbs in perfect form. According to his autobiography, his mother refused to see or hug him when nurses held him and she and her husband were discharged from the hospital.”
Originally, the toes of one foot grew together. He underwent surgery to separate his toes so that he could use them as gripping fingers. He calls it his chicken drumstick.


When Nick Vujicic was 17, Vujicic's mother showed him a newspaper article about a praying woman with a serious disability. Then he started speaking in his prayer group. Vujicic graduated from Griffith University at the age of 21 with a BA in Commerce and a dual specialization in Accounting and Financial Planning.
