Tony Robbins
Tony Robbins is an American motivational speaker, personal finance instructor, and self-help writer. He became famous for his commercials and self-help books, Unlimited Power, Unleash Inner Strength, and Awaken Inner Giant. Robbins began promoting workshops when motivational speaker and writer Jim Rohn was 17 years old.
In the early 1980s, Robbins, a practitioner of neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and Ericssonian hypnosis, collaborated with NLP's co-founder, John Grinder. After that, he learned to walk on fire and incorporated it into a seminar.
In 1997, Robbins held a leadership academy seminar. Robbins, along with Chloe Madanes, founded the Robbins-Madanes Intervention Center, an organization that trains life skills trainers to help families and individuals cope with addictions and other problems. In 2014, Robbins joined a group of investors to obtain the rights to launch Los Angeles Football Club, a Los Angeles major league football franchise. The soccer team took part in the 2018 competition.
