NTT Group

NTT stands for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation.

NTT's business includes mobile communications (NTT DOCOMO, INC, etc.), regional communications (NTT EAST and WEST, etc.), long-distance and international communications (NTT Ltd., NTT Communications Corporation, etc.) and data communications (NTT DATA CORPORATION, etc.) as well as real estate (NTT Urban Solutions, Inc.), systems development (NTT COMWARE CORPORATION), and finance (NTT FINANCE CORPORATION).

Telephone and telecommunications services were expanded throughout Japan during the country's rapid economic development and in 1985, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation was privatized. In order to streamline the structure and expand the business, NTT established a subsidiary for each business line and established NTT.

NTT's revenue (operating revenue) was approximately 11.94 trillion yen in March 2020 (as of March 31, 2021).

About 320,000 employees work at NTT. NTT now has more than 900 related companies, becoming a global enterprise providing ICT services worldwide.
