Parc Monceau
Located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Parc Monceau connects with many beautiful boulevards in Paris. Parc Monceau's main entrance leads onto the boulevard where there is a circular pavilion, just next to Avenue Courcelles. The park's Jacques-Garnerin promenade makes a tiny loop. The Comtesse de Ségur and Ferdousi Avenue both run through the park in east-west and north-south directions, respectively. Monceau doesn't have as many tall buildings as Paris's expansive parks and gardens. Due to the neighboring Alexandre Nevsky Orthodox church, Monceau Park is mostly used by Parisians and the Russian population and does not attract many tourists.
In addition to being featured in the film "Paris, je t'aime", Parc Monceau is renowned for a dome-shaped structure designed by renowned French architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux and constructed in the 19th century. The park stands out in the center of the city during the autumn with its angular rows of trees sporting golden leaves and the sound of the wind. How nice it must be to take in the crisp air while admiring the fall beauty in this most romantic city on earth.
