Pei Wei Asian Diner
Pei Wei’s story began with a dream of a restaurant that served authentic, Asian-inspired dishes without compromising freshness for speed of service. That dream was realized in the summer of 2000, when the first Pei Wei opened its doors in Scottsdale, AZ. With each plate, customers found bold, Asian flavors that coupled sit-down quality with take-out convenience.
The menu at Pei Wei varies slightly depending on where you go, but you can expect everything from classic American-Chinese dishes to lower-calorie options with a more Americanized spin, such as their cauliflower rice bowls. Sushi, salads, and gluten-free options are also available. Pei Wei is known for its succulent xiaolongbao or soup dumplings. The dumplings are tiny, but there are pocketfuls of juice in every bite. Definitely, be prepared for a long wait. The restaurant is always busy. You can get different flavored broths, but the favorite tends to be the spicy one. You can also divide your pot in half if you have people in your party who can't stomach lots of spice.
