Perez Art Museum
Perez Art Museum (PAMM), which relocated to a new home on Biscayne Boulevard in 2013, has established itself as a Miami destination for all things trendy and chic. Along with exhibiting amazing modern art (including many works by Latin American artists), PAMM is a stunning structure that invites exploration with a date across its several verandas and plazas. Over 1,800 pieces made up the museum's permanent collection as of 2014, mostly 20th- and 21st-century works of art from the Americas, Western Europe, and Africa. In 2016, there were around 2,000 pieces in the museum's collection. At the Museum Park Metromover station, rapid transit provides direct service to the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).
If dancing and mingling are more your style, the museum also welcomes numerous visiting artists and live music in the form of Poplife Social every third Thursday. If you adore the atmosphere and aren't quite ready to leave, stop by PAMM's own restaurant, Verde, where you can eat while admiring the breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the city lights of downtown Miami.
