Peter's Cave
Peter's Cave sits towards the top of the bluff on the north shore. It offers a wonderful view of the south side bluffs from the entrance. It is essentially a single large chamber with various forms. Visitors may only stand upright in this section of the cave. Of course, there are some crawls to investigate. Bats and a seabird called the Brown Booby live in the cave.
When it comes to one of the most beautiful caves on the Cayman Islands, people always mention Peter's Cave. The cave is well-known as a storm shelter, with a capacity of 100 people. For ages, people have utilized this cave to hide, and due to its height and large rock protection, it is quite safe. They even provided a portable toilet. However, because it is not recognized by the government as an official shelter, there is no police presence during a storm. This implies that individuals occasionally bring in wine and beer and get inebriated and disorderly. So many residents are fighting to get the cave designated as a refuge.
