Politecnico di Milano
Politecnico di Milano, founded in 1863, is one of Europe's most prestigious technical colleges, as well as the largest Italian university in Engineering, Architecture, and Design, with over 45,000 students. The university includes seven campuses in Milan as well as in adjacent Italian cities such as Lecco, Cremona, Mantova, and Piacenza. It is divided into 12 Departments and 4 Schools, which are dedicated to research and education, respectively.
With around 42,000 students, the Polytechnic Institution of Milan (Politecnico di Milano) is Italy's largest technical university. Engineering, architecture, and design courses are available at the undergraduate, graduate, and higher education levels at the institution. It is Milan's oldest university, having been founded in 1863.
The Polytechnic University of Milan includes two main campuses in Milan, Italy, where the majority of research and teaching activities take place, as well as five satellite campuses spread around Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. The primary offices and headquarters are housed on the historic Città Studi campus in Milan, which is also the biggest and has been in operation since 1927.
