PVOnline

PVOnline is an online education program provided by Arizona's Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD). It is approved by the Arizona State Board of Education and accredited as part of the school district. All PVOnline teachers are highly qualified and certified in their subjects.

The curriculum at PVOnline is structured to match state standards and includes subjects like English, math, science, and social studies. High school students can also take elective courses and advanced placement options. PVOnline is flexible, allowing students to access lessons and finish assignments from anywhere with the internet, making learning personal.

Students at PVOnline learn at their own pace through online lessons. They work independently but can get support from PVSchool teachers when needed. Daily meetings with teachers may not happen.

Even though students can work independently, they must be active in class. They must submit assignments weekly and log in daily to ensure they finish the course on time, designed to take one semester (18 weeks). Students should set a schedule at the beginning to stay on track. If off-campus students aren't making enough progress, they might need to return to a physical campus until they show they can pass.
