Radnor Lake State Park

Radnor Lake State Park is a 1,368-acre park and is protected as a Class II Natural Area. It stands out because of its abundance of animal watching chances, environmental education initiatives, hiking options, and urban location. The park is only open during the day, and the 7.75-mile trail is reserved for hiking, photography, and animal viewing. The Otter Creek Road trail is the only place where pets, running, and cycling is permitted. People who use all-terrain wheelchairs can use the Lake Trail.

Nature lovers can see owls, herons, and ducks, as well as a variety of amphibians, reptiles, and mammals including mink and otter, in the park. The natural biological diversity of the region is enhanced by hundreds of species of wildflowers, mosses, fungus, ferns, and other plants, as well as trees, shrubs, and vines. Throughout the year, ranger-led activities such as canoe floats, wildflower walks, astronomy night hikes, nature hikes, snake programs, off-trail land acquisition excursions, and bird of prey are planned.
