Remerschen lakes “Baggerweier”

These are beautiful lakes surrounded by lush, green man-made forests, with lots of space for a picnic and water sports. A place to delightfully get lost in nature, so it is deserved one of the most beautiful lakes in Luxembourg. There are two zones: one is off-limits to all water sports, and the other allows swimming, boating, kayaking, etc. You must proceed to Isenborg village to access zone two.

While one lake is less than one meter deep, making it ideal for young children, the other has a depth of six meters and is home to enormous water inflatables with slides and an assault course (it is not clear if these are available under current restrictions).

Families can use the playground, though, and teenagers can use the three beach volleyball courts, stand-up paddle boards, and pedalos (these are at an extra cost). Additionally, yoga classes and introductory/guided dives will be offered. Every day of the week from 10:00 to 18:00, the lakes are open. Besides, there are many restaurants nearby for you to choose from.
