  1. Remich, also called the Pearl of the Moselle, is a small tourist town situated along the European Route in the triangle created by Luxembourg, France, and Germany. Beautiful vistas of open meadows and vineyards surround it. This is one of the most beautiful lakes in Luxembourg.

A 3 km long promenade lined with birch and cherry trees runs alongside the Moselle River and offers more than just a place to stroll. Remich provides a variety of activities for people of all ages, from peaceful patios to wine tastings and boat trips.

Four distinct boat trips are available here: a panoramic tour, a lock tour, a gourmet cruise, and a day trip to France or Germany. For instance, you can spend an hour on the panoramic tour learning about the history of the Schengen and Moselle regions while admiring lovely vineyards, castles, and nature preserves. As an alternative, you may take a gourmet cruise on a Sunday to learn about Luxembourg's cuisine.

  2. Rommwiss, Burfelt, Insenborn, Lultzhausen, and Liefrange are all ideal locations to spread out a blanket for a picnic along the shore of the Upper Sûre Lake. This is rated one of the most beautiful lakes in Luxembourg.

The 42km is the beachfront of the Upper Sûre Nature Park. The Insenborn solar boat offers a 2-hour tour that describes the local flora and animals as well as a journey ashore to the Burfelt forest discovery center.

If you want a more private setting, take the wooded route to the Burfelt viewing platform and then go to the shingle beach close to the Maison de la Fôret. Astonishing wooden sculptures can be seen.

You can also reserve the amphibian tour, which combines a boat trip with an 8-kilometer hike around the reservoir's left bank. The excursion departs from Insenborn and disembarks at Barel for a walking tour that takes you past the Hellekessel and the floating bridge at Lultzhausen on the way back. It takes about 4 hours to complete the tour.

  3. Two man-made lakes are located close to the Weiswampach hamlet. The lower lake, which is encircled by a well-kept lawn, allows swimming and water sports, while the higher lake is just for fishing.

More than 250 parking spaces are available, and the lake features restrooms and water fountains. In addition, the location serves as the starting point for a 4 km hike around the lake and a 25 km mountain biking tour. There is a campground close by, and the Buvette du Lac serves food and beverages.

The Weiswampach lakes draw both young and old water enthusiasts throughout the summer. In addition to fishing, the lower lake is designated for a variety of water sports like swimming, canoeing, and surfing. But a fishing license is required in order to engage in any fishing.

The Weiswampach lake is surrounded by a lovely lawn. The leisure and recreation center also has a café/restaurant with a spacious patio facing the lower lake, as well as pedal boat rentals. Because of its stunning, Weiswampach lakes are one of the most beautiful lakes in Luxembourg.

  4. These are beautiful lakes surrounded by lush, green man-made forests, with lots of space for a picnic and water sports. A place to delightfully get lost in nature, so it is deserved one of the most beautiful lakes in Luxembourg. There are two zones: one is off-limits to all water sports, and the other allows swimming, boating, kayaking, etc. You must proceed to Isenborg village to access zone two.

While one lake is less than one meter deep, making it ideal for young children, the other has a depth of six meters and is home to enormous water inflatables with slides and an assault course (it is not clear if these are available under current restrictions).

Families can use the playground, though, and teenagers can use the three beach volleyball courts, stand-up paddle boards, and pedalos (these are at an extra cost). Additionally, yoga classes and introductory/guided dives will be offered. Every day of the week from 10:00 to 18:00, the lakes are open. Besides, there are many restaurants nearby for you to choose from.
