Russkaya Vodka

The vodka brand Russkaya Vodka was created in the Soviet Union in the 1960s. The most popular vodka in the Soviet Union, Russkaya, was renowned for its superior quality and authenticity. Still made and bottled exclusively in Russia using Russian ingredients is Russkaya Vodka.

Clear water from natural sources is combined with grains of wheat, rye, and malted barley to create Russkaya Vodka. It is three times distilled and then filtered using cloth, quartz, sand, and activated charcoal. It smells like bread and has a thick, creamy, somewhat sweet, spiced flavor. It comes in a variety of tastes, including honey, cranberry, and lemon.

Russkaya Vodka can be sipped plain, served over ice, or combined with other liquors to make cocktails. Bloody Mary, Suzdal Mule, and Cosmoplane are a few popular drinks created using Russkaya Vodka. Traditional Russian appetizers like pickled mushrooms or cucumbers, smoked salmon or caviar, cheese, olives, and almonds pair well with Russkaya Vodka.

Russkaya Vodka is regarded as a high-end vodka with reasonable pricing. Market conditions and bottle size affect the pricing range. In the US, a 750 ml bottle of Russkaya vodka normally costs $20 to $30.
