Smirnoff Vodka
A British vodka company owned by Diageo is Smirnoff Vodka. Pyotr Smirnov, a pioneer in charcoal filtration and the designated supplier to the Russian czars, established it in Moscow in 1864.
A trace of caramel and vanilla can be detected in the aroma of Smirnoff Vodka. With a crisp, clean finish and a smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. It is excellent for blending with other ingredients because it is rather bland and does not have a strong flavor on its own.
Foods that are smoked, pickled, or cured go exceptionally well with Smirnoff Vodka. Caviar, smoked fish, blinis, pickled herrings, sausage, ham, beef tartare, pierogi, beets, cucumber, cheese, radishes, and capers are a few examples. Traditional drinks like the Moscow Mule, Bloody Mary, Cosmopolitan, and Martini can also be made with Smirnoff Vodka. Smirnoff Vodka is a mid-range vodka that costs in the US between $10 and $15 for a 750 ml bottle.
