Ryomen Sukuna
The most powerful jujutsu sorcerer from a thousand years ago is Ryomen Sukuna, more frequently referred to as just Sukuna. Sukuna, regarded as the undisputed King of Curses, serves as one of the series' main villains in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Golden Age of Jujutsu Jujutsu sorcerers battled him with all their might but ultimately perished one after another. After dying, Sukuna became a cursed instrument in which he divided his power into twenty invincible fingers, and this allowed him to continue existing throughout the ages.
Sukuna, the undeniable King of Curses, is so strong that just one of his fingers is needed to produce a special-grade Curse. With his Dismantle Technique, he can physically rip opponents apart, as he did when he cut Mahito after the Curse tried too many times to touch Sukuna's soul. He also easily defeated the Finger Bearer in the juvenile detention facility.
As the most potent sorcerer of his day during the Heian Era's Golden Age of Jujutsu, Ryomen Sukuna was revered and feared by everyone in his era. He killed and defeated thousands of other Jujutsu sorcerers as they improved their abilities against him.
He can attack anything within 200 meters at will thanks to his Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine, and if that isn't enough, he is very clever and patient. When the right opportunity arises, Sukuna is willing to wait, and when he does, he almost never fails.
