Yuta Okkotsu
The lead character of Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High and a significant supporting character in the Jujutsu Kaisen series is Yuta Okkotsu. He is also considered as one of the strongest "Jujutsu Kaisen" characters.
His late childhood companion, Rika Orimoto, plagued him at first, turning him into a special-grade cursed human. Yuta was mentored by Satoru Gojo, who also enrolled him at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
His first source of power is the wrathful spirit of his dead closest friend, Rika, who enviously keeps watch over him. He first struggles to control Rika's strength, but once they work together, they are powerful enough to confront and defeat the special-grade sorcerer, Geto. Although Yuta hasn't been seen much by anime viewers since he left on a training expedition at the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, his return may very well signal the emergence of a new sorcerer on par with Gojo.
Jujutsu High has acknowledged Yuta Okkotsu as one of only four special-grade sorcerers. Yuta was quickly recognized as a special grade due to Rika's enormous power while being possessed by her vengeful soul, making him the most recent recipient of the ranking.
Yuta received a katana during his initial sorcerer training primarily as a tool to control the energy of his curse. Yuta improved his sword skills through rigorous training with Maki, the most skilled user of cursed tools at Jujutsu High, and was able to hold his own against cursed spirits and even Geto, who had extraordinary physical prowess.
