Salt Whistle Bay
Salt Whistle Bay is another of the Grenadines' most well-known beaches. This beach is on Mayreau, an island even further south than Bequia, almost halfway between St Vincent and Grenada, another renowned Caribbean beach resort. This little beach nook is ideal for getting away from it all. While you are free to visit on your own, many tourists use this region as a sailing stopover on their way across the Caribbean. As a result, you'll observe a variety of sailboats entering the water.
Because Mayreau has no airport or landing strip, you must arrive by water. Aside from sailing directly here, flying into nearby is the best option. Union Island and take a water taxi there — you may fly to Union Island from either Barbados or St Vincent. 4So, while getting here may appear to be a significant amount of effort, it is well worth the effort. The sea here is peaceful and crystal clear, and it's also very shallow, so it's ideal for those who aren't confident in the water.
