Sana Mir
Sana Mir is a Pakistani cricket commentator and former cricketer who previously captained the Pakistan women's national cricket team at ODI and T20I. She has appeared in 226 international matches, including 137 team captains. She was the first bowler in Pakistan to win the WODI by 100 wickets. She played cricket at Karachi and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited.
In October 2018, she became the first Pakistani female cricketer to take first place in the ICC ODI Bowler Rankings. She led Pakistan to two gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. She was announced as a player in the 2008 Cricket Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament and she currently sits #1 among ODI Women's Bowlers in the ICC Players Rankings. For the past nine years, she has been in the top 20 ICC rankings. Eight players from Pakistan made it into the top 20 ICC rankings while captaining.
In February 2017, in the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup qualifiers, Sana Mir became the first Pakistani woman to throw 100 wickets at WODI. In September 2017, Bismah Marouf became the captain of the Pakistani women's ODI team after Mir stepped down from her position. In February 2019, she became the first Pakistani woman to make 100 appearances at Women's Twenty20 International. In November 2019, she announced that she would take her break from international cricket.
On April 25, 2020, she announced her retirement from international cricket.
