Savas

Savas is a welcoming neighborhood pub located in the center of Lavapies. Dovi and Gintas, the kindest couple and co-owners of Savas, make the bar feel even more intimate and personal. Savas is a true hidden gem, and it's easy to walk right by the unassuming wooden door. Inside, though, the warm minimalist décor with white tiles and red stripes evokes a 1950s diner. The cocktails at Savas are equally clean and minimalist, taking cues from the decor.

Tom Collins, Gimlets, and Bourbon Smashes are among the refreshing favorites on the menu. There are a couple of additional oldies in there as well, all with subtle tasteful modifications. Their not-too-sweet White Russian with exquisite Averna amaro is a must-try. The Masala Gin Fizz, with a hint of masala spice embedded in the expertly built froth, is another must-try. Savas is a great, unassuming location to have a drink and mingle with the neighborhood's residents, day or night.
