Schlitterbahn New Braunfels

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is the company's flagship location, with more than 50 attractions spread across 70 acres. All of the pools, slides, and rides use water from the Comal River, which runs right through the center of the park and offers plenty of tubing and swimming opportunities. There are several other adrenaline-pumping attractions at the park, such as an uphill water coaster, tube chutes with daring drops, and a dragon-themed slide with special effects. There are shady picnic areas scattered throughout the park, and overnight accommodations are available at the on-site resort.

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is not only Texas' largest outdoor waterpark, but it also appears on many lists of the world's best waterparks! The park has 51 rivers, rides, slides, and chutes (including several uphill water coasters), as well as miles of tubing channels powered by natural spring water from the Comal River. More than 30 dining locations throughout the park serve everything from a 1/2-pound foot-long chili cheese dog basket to cookies and cream funnel cake to power all the fun.
