The company started to attract attention in the international publishing scene with titles such as "The Hunger Games" and "Clifford - the giant red dog".

In 1998, Scholastic achieved great success when publishing "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" - the first book by writer J.K. Rowling.
