School of the Nations
School of the Nations would be the next best international school in Brasilia. The School of the Nations is an international, non-profit, private, coeducational, dual-language day school. It is internationally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and nationally accredited by the Federal District Secretary of Education.
It offers a challenging multilingual academic curriculum that is supplemented by a moral education program, the arts, and athletics. Moral education helps students comprehend their dynamic role in building a peaceful, just, and sustainable society. Students can achieve the Brazilian, American, and AP Capstone® certificates by taking preparatory and university-level programs.
Regardless of the Program, students at the School of the Nations can receive up to three diplomas: the Brazilian Diploma, the American High School Diploma, and the AP Capstone Diploma. The National and International programs address topics mandated by the Brazilian Ministry of Education as well as the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) standards for conferring the two diplomas.
School of the Nations prepares high school students for university enrollment in Brazil and abroad by offering bilingual and international programs. The College Guidance Counselor provides tailored counsel to each student to ensure that he or she knows all available possibilities and to support students' decisions.
For students in Nursery II through Grade 12, the School of the Nations offers After School and School Teams Programs. These programs, which aim to supplement the traditional curriculum, allow students to explore abilities in areas of interest to them. Students can choose from a variety of recreational, sports, arts, intellectual, and cultural activities led by competent specialists.
