SEK International School of Qatar
Last, we have SEK International School Qatar (SEK-Qatar), a member of the esteemed SEK Education Group that was founded in 1892. Since its establishment in 2013, SEK-Qatar has been part of a network of 10 schools across Spain, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, and France. With a diverse student body representing nearly 60 nationalities, the school represents and encourages a multicultural environment for its learners.
Under the Qatari Ministry of Education’s Outstanding Schools Program, SEK Qatar upholds a legacy of 128 years in delivering innovative education. SEK-Qatar offers a well-rounded academic approach that promotes exploration and talent development across multiple disciplines. It emphasizes various subjects, including physical health, arts, robotics, programming, sciences, mathematics, humanities, and languages such as Spanish, English, and Arabic.
Curricula aside, the school also prioritizes the holistic development of its students and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities. Most of these activities are led by the staff, and the choices may vary from year to year based on teachers’ interests. Updated information about these activities is available on one of the school's internal websites, SchoolsBuddy.
