Senreve (the name combines the terms sense and dream in French) was formed in 2016 by Coral Chung and Wendy Wen with the goal of providing excellent and stylish laptop bags for professional women. The foundation of SENREVE is the coexistence of dichotomies: everyday and fantasy, heritage and innovation, design and versatility—creating an elevated experience that resists trade-offs. This attitude underpins all we do and is reflected in our name, which is a combination of the French words for "sense" and "dream."

The Maestra-style bag, which can be worn as a satchel, tote, crossbody, or backpack, was the bag that first brought them recognition. The Maestra, which also comes in a tiny form, is still one of Senreve's best-selling items on the company's website.
