Sherubtse College (Royal University of Bhutan)
Sherubtse Institution, created in 1966 by a group of Jesuits led by William Mackey, was Bhutan's first accredited college. The institution was converted to a Junior College in 1976, providing pre-university science programmes. Arts and business courses were offered in 1978. Father Gerald E. In 2003, it became a part of the Royal University of Bhutan, a system that includes all of Bhutan's public post-secondary schools.
